Does anyone have any great techniques out there that they use to help students with ADHD/ADD to stay more focused or attentive in class so that it does not take away from their learning?
I've tried checklist post-its on desks last year. It seemed to help some students, assuming they read the post-it. They can also use the post-it to put check marks on it when they notice that they have lost focus. That way, they monitor how often they aren't on task. I had a student with an IEP do that last year and she liked the reminder. Hope that helps!
